• Understanding and using Computers or the Internet.
• Most aspects of Windows based computing from Windows 98 up to Windows Vista.
• Software Applications/Programs: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer and more
• Digital Technology – Digital photography and your photo album
• Digital Scrap booking - Using your graphic editing software to create scrapbook pages
• World Wide Web – Designing a family web site (home page)
• Desktop publishing applications – Designing cards, banners, invitations, digital scrap booking.

How are the lessons conducted?

One student, one instructor, one computer! Each lesson lasts for 60 minutes. A state-of-the-art personal computer is provided for "hands-on" instruction at our store. You decide how many lessons you want, how often you want them and what topics will be discussed.

How does this differ from classroom instruction?

We cover topics to the level of detail that you desire, spending as much time as necessary on areas that you find interesting or confusing. You learn at your own pace, not at that of the instructor or other students in a class. There is no "wasted" time covering topics that are not in your particular area of interest. Also, you don't have to be afraid of asking a "silly" question in front of other students.
